Aside from your profile options, not much else is yet available on the Square Enix Members official website, apart from what appears to be set to become the publisher's equivalent of Nintendo's "Stars" community feature. Gamers are given the option to register their games, which will than appear on their profile homepage.



Warner Bros. & TT Games Extend LEGO Licensing Agreement (Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy)



LEGO Systems and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group has announced a worldwide license agreement for TT Games Publishing to continue developing the highly successful LEGO based videogames across multiple platforms. Operating as part of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a division of WBHEG, TT Games is the publisher and developer behind the award-winning hit LEGO videogame franchises including, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Batman: The Videogame and LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, which have sold close to 50 million units worldwide.



Atlus releases new Hexyz Force assets for the PSP (Hexyz Force)



Late Wednesday morning, Atlus U.S.A., Inc. released a number of new assets for Hexyz Force, its upcoming 2-in-1 RPG epic for the Sony PSP.

New screenshots detail the game's two intertwined yet independent narratives--which amount to two RPG adventures in one affordable portable package, accompany the launch of the game's official website...



MGS Peace Walker to have 10 upcoming trailers; PSP install? (Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker)



Recent tweets by Hideo Kojima have him musing about the possibility of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker having ten trailers. The trailers would mostly show gameplay. Also, a recent screenshot shows a "DATA INSTALL" menu for Peace Walker, suggesting that the game will require (or at least offer) an install to the memory stick or system memory.

CRI Middleware Shortens PSP Load Times (Valkyria Chronicles 2)

CRI, a Japanese middleware provider, are promoting what they call File Magic Pro; software that allegedly reduces the load times in PSP games by half via game compression and expansion, and file placement optimization.

Among the games that already implement this solution are Persona 3 Portable, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, Valkyria Chronicles 2, and Mana Khemia 2 Portable.

XSEED Games has just released Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for the PlayStation Portable. The classic TurboGrafx-16 RPG is revamped on the PSP platform with new graphics, soundtrack, voiceovers and quests. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony is available in a standard edition ($29.99) and Premium Edition ($39.99).

The Premium Edition is a nice collector's set which includes the Lunar game, soundtrack cd and 13 bromide collector cards packed into a nice foil cover box. Super Villain Studios, the one behind the portable version of Fat Princess, announced today that Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake has gone gold.



Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Is T, Kojima Wishes It Was E For Everyone (Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker)



Siliconera: Most Metal Gear Solid games are rated "M" by the ESRB in North America. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is shooting for a broader audience since it's being designed as a "T" rated title.

What does that mean? No blood, but the game's plot is still serious.



Patapon Was Originally A PSN Game Says Former Sony PR Guy (Patapon)



Former Sony PR guy and comedian Dave Karraker revealed that Patapon was originally set to be a PSN game before it was moved onto the PSP.
Karraker guested on this week's Mobcast (Bitmob's official podcast) and revealed that this had been the plan for the franchise.
Surely this breathes a little more life into rumors that the game will, one day, come to the PlayStation 3.
